Industrial Policy

The Policy aims at fight social and economic injustice, and remove the pockets of poverty through vigorous efforts for overall economic development of the state, continue full support o rural and small scale industries encourage flow of investment into the state, encourage development of entrepreneurship and scientific temperament to open the vast employment opportunities in the industrial sector etc.

Incentives

Investment Subsidy of 15% of fixed capital investment up to Rs.1.5 million, for electronic units.

Agro & Food Processing Industries are entitled for 25% of fixed investment up to Rs. 3 million.

Subsidy of 25% of fixed capital investment up to Rs. 3 million, for units in identified backward areas.

150% & 125% sales tax relief on fixed capital investment for SSIs and medium and large units in Zone A,with time limit of 9 years.

125% & 100% sales tax relief on fixed capital investment for SSIs and medium and large units in Zone B, with time limit of 7 years.

500% sales tax relief on capital investment fo a maximum period o 7 years for electronicS industry.

Rs. 50 lakh subsidy for pioneer industries with investment above Rs. 1000 million
